Learn to skate
Most adults don't fail at skateboarding. They skip the foundations, go straight to tricks, and get hurt — then decide they're "too old for this."
You're not too old. You just need to learn in the right order. That's what every session below is built around — foundations first, tricks when you're ready for them. I've been skating for 26 years and coaching adults is all I do.
Pick the option that fits.
Group sessions - $30
Small group lessons at the park. You'll learn alongside other adult beginners, which honestly makes the whole thing less intimidating — everyone's wobbly, everyone's learning, nobody's judging.
Sessions run on set days and spots are limited.
Leave your availability and I'll let you know when a session opens up that works for you.
Private lessons - $90
Just you, me, and the board. We work on exactly what you need — whether that's standing on the thing for the first time or finally getting comfortable dropping in.
This is the fastest way to progress. Every minute is spent on you.
$90 per lesson, or grab a 3 pack for $249. Most people book the 3 pack — one lesson gets you started, three gets you rolling on your own.
The 8 Week Program — $995
This is the full thing. Eight weeks of coaching that takes you from standing on a skateboard for the first time to rolling, turning, and controlling the board with confidence.
You also get lifetime membership to the online course, so everything we cover in person is backed up with video lessons you can go back to whenever you want. Miss a week, forget a step, want to keep progressing after the program ends — it's all there for life.
If you're serious about actually learning to skate, this is the one.
$995 — coaching plus lifetime course access.
The Online Course Learn From Anywhere
Not on the Gold Coast? This is how you skate with me from wherever you are.
The course takes you through the same fundamentals I teach in person — four levels, in the right order: Getting Comfortable, Turning & Board Control, Introduction to Transition, and Trick Foundations. Every lesson is broken down step by step, and most of the early stuff you can practise at home on the carpet or the grass before you ever roll on concrete.
You also get access to the community — other adults learning at the same time as you, sharing their progress, asking questions, and keeping each other going. That part matters more than people expect. Learning alone is how most adults quit.
Free to join. $9/month for Full Course Access
Not sure which one?
Start with a private 1:1 lesson. It's $90, you'll know within an hour if this is for you, and I'll point you toward whatever makes sense next.
See you at the park.
Cheers, Theo
